1-1 Coaching for Leaders and Executives

For business leaders who want clarity and accountability so they can be more effective.

Investment starts at £1800

Who it’s for:
Executives and Business Leaders who want ongoing coaching for accountability and support.

What’s included:
Ongoing virtual coaching sessions (a minimum of six sessions), tailored around you and your needs. Whether you want to get clarity on your strategy, talk through scenarios to reach a decision, manage your mindset or need help with communication strategy, I can build a programme to support your goals.

(In person sessions can also be arranged on request).

Coaching is powerful because

  1. so often, we already have the best solutions to any tricky scenarios we find ourselves in, but frustratingly, they’re usually locked away in our subconscious. Coaching is one of the best ways to access those ideas, so we can move forward in a positive way.

WHY COACHING WORKS

Safe space

As a leader, you have a lot of responsibility on your shoulders. You can’t talk to your team about any doubts or challenges, and your family and friends don’t understand. Coaching gives you a safe, non-judgemental space for you to think clearly and move forward.

Reflection

The first step to becoming a more effective leader, is understanding yourself. When we start working together I ask you to complete a personality profile and values questionnaire, which can help you to understand your decision making process and mindset better.

Clarity

We all carry round a set of beliefs to help us make sense of the world. Sometimes these are helpful, sometimes they’re not, but it’s difficult for you to see them yourself. Working with a coach gives you the chance to uncover the invisible beliefs that may be holding you back.

Leader and Executive Coaching Package:

What we cover in your coaching sessions is completely unique to you and what you want to achieve, but here's the framework I use:

🔸 In our first session we agree 2-3 overarching goals (measurable) goals you want to achieve over the course of our coaching sessions together.

🔸During each coaching session we come up with smaller actions for you to take away and complete, to support your longer term goals. I can keep you accountable and on track with those goals, as well as suggesting tools to help you. During these sessions I may also challenge you if I feel something is holding you back.

🔸At the end of the coaching sessions we reflect on your progress and you may decide to reset your goals and book additional coaching sessions.

The standard package starts at six one-hour long virtual sessions.

(I find the biggest breakthroughs come from the momentum of continuous sessions as we get to know each other, and the earliest this tends to happen is at six sessions).

(I can also offer longer, or in person sessions if we feel they are needed.)

Price starts at £1800 per person

Frequently Asked Questions

Coaching for Leaders and Executives is for anyone in a leadership role who’d like to become more effective in their role through having a safe and non-judgmental space to find clarity and support.

Coaching is flexible to your needs, but here are some real life examples :

  • A Managing Director whose business is growing too quickly for them to keep up, they’re worried about the wheels might fall off and they need to find a space to think through a change strategy.
  • A business leader who was new in role and didn’t feel confident. They self-identifed as having ‘imposter syndrome’.
  • A founder who needed to rethink their marketing and messaging strategy  to create more leads for their business.
  • A CEO who wants to create an internal communication strategy around a change programme.
  • A Director who wants to become better at communicating with their team.

This will depend on what your goals are, but you can expect to make significant progress on 2-3 goals that are a priority for you.

Most people I work with are surprised when they look back and see how much progress they’ve made, and how much clearer they are as a result of the coaching sessions.

I usually carry out all the sessions online on Zoom.

Face to face sessions can be arranged (with enough notice and travel expenses paid). It’s something that can be discussed on our initial call.

You’ll need to be available for a minimum of six hours for your coaching sessions. You’ll also need to spend time between each session completing your actions.

This will depend on your goals and what comes out of your sessions, but it could be around an extra hour between coaching sessions.

Coaching can help you achieve your goals because:

It gives you a safe and supportive space to think clearly (one of the most important factors in coming up with great ideas, according to Nancy Kline in her book, ‘Time to Think.’

Talking things out loud can help you access your subconscious mind, and get clarity on limiting thoughts and beliefs that may have held you back without realising.

Your coaching sessions might be the only place you truly have the chance to be honest about your work/business, what’s going on and how you feel about it, without fear of judgement or repercussions.

It forces you to focus on what’s important to achieving your goals and not get distracted.

It gives you access to a coach who’s highly skilled in asking the right questions and suggesting useful tools to help give you clarity.

It keeps you accountable to following through on your actions and making progress.

I usually advise coaching sessions take place at least monthly, as it’s important to keep the momentum going.

However, if you want to make progress more quickly and have the time to complete your actions between the sessions, I can often accommodate fortnightly or even weekly sessions, depending on what you need.

What we cover in your coaching sessions is completely unique to you and what you want to achieve, but here’s the framework I use:

In our first session we agree 2-3 overarching goals (measurable) goals you want to achieve over the course of our coaching sessions together.

During each subsequent coaching session we go through your progress, explore how your situation has changed, and then come up with your next set of actions for you to take away and complete, towards your overarching goals.

I keep you accountable and on track with those goals, as well as suggesting tools to help you. During these sessions I may also challenge you if I feel something is holding you back.

At the end of six coaching sessions we reflect on your progress and you may decide to reset your goals and book additional sessions.

Absolutely! Once I’ve worked with someone and they see how powerful coaching is, they often ask me to work with other members of their team. Which is great, as working with different members of your team helps me to understand the overall context of your business better.

You can also be sure that nothing disclosed in sessions will be shared with anyone else. As a qualified ILM level 7 Coach and Mentor I abide by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC)’s guidelines – and can guarantee that everything discussed within my coaching sessions stays confidential.

This means you can share your thoughts with confidence and be completely open (and means you’ll get more out of the coaching experience).

Yes. I can carry out coaching sessions (subject to travel expenses) in person, if we decide this is the most effective option for you.

However, usually the virtual sessions work well and there’s no need to do a face to face session (which can be less cost effective and more difficult to schedule in).

If you are interested in this option, let me know on our initial chat and we can work out the options.

I’m a qualified ILM Level 7 Coach and Mentor, which is one of the highest qualifications you can get in Coaching and Mentoring. And I’ve used the skills I’ve acquired to support many business leaders, directors and founders and successfully help them achieve their goals.

I’ve worked in a variety of sectors: SME; Corporate (FTSE 100) and media sectors.

I also have 2+ decades of experience working in Journalism and Communications (both as a BBC Journalist and Corporate Communications expert), so in addition to coaching, I can also offer specific expertise on: Communications Strategy, Writing, Change Communications Strategy, Content Strategy, Media Opportunities, Podcasts, Pitching, Slide decks, Radio.
